An Update . . .

I just wanted to do a quick post to let all my readers in on an update about Dream's leg. Sorry I didn't earlier. It is healing up well and she is at the point where we could start to ride again. (Yeah!!!) She is really feeling her oats. We have been working her more to get her ready for us to ride again. We took her for a walk (I know that sounds crazy but. . . ) on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and that was great except that it was a windy day and she spooked a bit. So I hope that fills you all in!!! By the way, if you are a horse owner, could you let me know in a comment so I know who to ask for tips? I hope to post new pictures soon! God bless you all! Thanks for all you prayers and concern!

  3. So thankful to hear that Dream is doing better! Plenty of ground work is good before you start riding again! Horses spook sometimes on windy days...they get silly.
You can ask me horse questions any time and I'll try and answer to the best of my ability. :)

  5. When will you post again? I hope it will be soon!! :) Do any of you guys have a Beagle? We do and lately he has been running off, like way down the road a turn the corner. And he doesn't come back for a long time we call and call but he probably is so far away that he can"t even here us. So we are keeping him in our outside open dog pen for a while.

    1. No, we don't have a beagle or any dog now. Not yet anyways. We tried a dog but it didn't exactly work out. (See "Riley, Our Long Awaited Dog" (one of my posts)) I want to do a post so that everyone knows that we had to get rid of him. :( We have friends that have a Beagle and they have to keep him on a rope whenever he goes outside. Otherwise he will run away. Good luck with your Beagle! (I DO NOT mean that negatively! :)) What is your Beagle's name?
      How old are you?
      God Bless!

    3. Ok thanks. His name is Charlie, and I'm 10. And Charlie can seem pretty dumb sometimes. I think that rope idea is a great idea but my mom thinks that since we have so many trees he might go around and around 'till he strangles himself but I'll ask again. Thanks so much for the idea though.

    5. Yeah, we miss him a lot but he brought it upon himself by killing one of our pet chickens and then nearly killing one of our cats. :(
But our neighbor now has him so we can still see him sometimes.

    6. Hope it works! We tried to do something of that sort too but from our monkey bars so he kept getting tangled and we were afraid that he wouldn't be able to get to the water sometime when we were gone so we had to fix that.
