Pray for Rain!
Well, I don't know about you all, but I do know that where I live, in California, we are in a pretty big drought. It's kinda crazy since all of you local blog readers know that this winter started out much better than most years (Some say that we already have gotten more rain than all last year.) but if we don't get more rain, then prices in everything will go up (like hay) and the grass won't keep growing but will stay stunted. Also, out here quite a few people here have wells that could go dry. Another thing if we don't get rain pretty quickly, and I know that this is pretty small, but I am going to winter camp at the end of next week and a lot of fun is with snow. At this rate, the only snow up there will be man-made. I thought that I might as well get some prayers going from all you faithful blog readers if you will. I just have to laugh that up where some of you are, (Washington, etc.) there is plenty of rain and water but here. . . . So, if each of you could just say a prayer for some good, steady rain for our area whenever you think of me or my blog, that would be much appreciated! Even Jesus says how important water is when he declares that He is the Living Water. Thank you very much for your prayers!

DeleteHey Faithful Blog Readers!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if any of you still had and interest in more posts about that trip that we took a few months back. I've got pictures! Please just leave me your feedback in a comment or email (if you have my email.) Thanks!
I will pray for rain, Bethany. I know how important it is to that area, I used to live down in CA. Last year, when the drought was so bad there in sunny CA, the farms up in my area were shipping hay down to your area. We could use the prayer for rain, as well. Though everyone seems to think WA is a rainy wet and snowy place, that's only for the Western part of the state. Us Washingtonians on the Eastern side of the state are two or three inches of precipiation above being classified as a desert. :P We could use some more water as well, or the drought will spread to here and then no one will have hay.
ReplyDeleteI'll pray that this doesn't happen! Thanks for letting us know to pray!
Also, yes, keep posting about your trip. I hope that there is snow in the mountains when you go to winter camp. (Or you could just come to our area, we still have snow.) ;)
Thanks! Boy, I wish that I could come up there and meet you! And, yes, of course I'll be praying!
DeleteHello Bethany!
ReplyDeleteI prayed just now. Could you pray for some snow in Missouri, where I live?
I'll be praying! Thanks for your prayers! I checked out your blog and will probably follow it! If you don't mind my asking, which "Amy" are you? I have two (counting you.) Am I right, you are one of the ones who I invited from Andi's Blog?
